Frequently Asked Questions

Don't see your question listed here? Please contact us and we'll be happy to help you with any questions or concerns you might have.

What equipment do I need to do MAX Workouts?

You can do MAX WORKOUTS at the gym or at home. Keeping crowded gyms in mind, the workouts can be done in a small space with a barbell or dumbbells, your own body weight, and a pull-up bar. If you workout at home and don’t have a barbell, you can reference all the dumbbell variations of the barbell exercises that I’ve included in the book for you. Either way, I’ve got you covered.

For the interval cardio portion of the program, you can run outside or use a treadmill, indoor bike, rower, or any cardio machine of your choice.

Is MAX Workouts for men or women?

Contrary to popular belief, I believe men and women should be doing the same type of workouts.  MAX Workouts is based on athletic training that benefits men and women differently.  Why is that?  Because a man’s body chemistry is different from a woman’s.  It’s really as simple as that.  While both will burn an insane amount of fat, men will build more muscle and get more cut.  Women will really lean out and get toned.  Many women are afraid that if they lift weights they’re going to bulk up.  I can tell you from years of training all my clients with MAX Workouts - nothing could be further from the truth.  When women start lifting a little heavier and performing full body workouts, the result is toned muscles that look sexy - not bulky!

Is MAX Workouts for beginners, intermediates, or athletes?

MAX Workouts is designed to be completely scalable for whatever level you’re currently at, however, it is not for people who have never exercised before.  There’s 90 days worth of workouts scheduled out for you in the book.  I tell you exactly what to do and on what day of the week.  Even if you’re a veteran exerciser, I recommend you start the program from the very beginning.  The workouts get progressively harder as the weeks go by, so you’ll want to have a good grasp of all the exercises as you move through the program.

How long will the workouts take me?

No workout will take you longer than 30 minutes.  MAX Workouts is based on shorter, higher intesity strength & cardio training.  I also incorporate full-body (functional) exercises, interval training, and circuit training.  Training this way gets you super lean and defined without having to spend hours in the gym each week.  Better yet, your body will recover faster so that you can workout the next day without being too sore or tired.  I reccommend you workout 4-6 days per week.

What is an eBook and why is MAX Workouts only available in this format?

An eBook is a downloadable file (in PDF format) that is readable and printable on any computer.  If you were to buy MAX Workouts today, you would be able to download immediately after your purchase and start the program right away.  No waiting and no shipping charges.  Each workout has been formatted to fit on no more than 1-2 pages for easy printing as you move through the program.

I chose to make MAX Workouts available as an eBook because of the overwhelming demand of clients wanting to buy the program.  This was the fastest way to do that—and make it available to anyone in the world.  Plus, selling MAX Workouts as eBook also saves money for both of us.  I can offer you the package at a steep discount because I don’t have any printing or inventory costs.  We both win and help the environment at the same time.

And don’t worry - downloading is so easy even my mom can do it!

Is it safe to place my order online?

Absolutely.  We use SSL (secure socket layer) technology to protect your information.  No one except for the bank can see your payment information (not even me!).  When you get to the checkout screen, you’ll notice the URL in your browser will change from “http” to “https”.  The “s” indicates that you are on a secure page and that any information you submit will be secured.  You should keep this in mind for all of your online transactions.

Will I need to take supplements while I’m on the program?

No way!  I’m not a fan of supplements (unless you’re talking about fish oils or vitamins) and I will never create a program that requires anything unnatural.  You can (and should) acheive your fitness goals naturally and safely.  Health and wellness simply doesn’t come in a bottle.  So if you’re looking for a “quick fix” without any effort, MAX Workouts probably isn’t for you.  I created MAX Workouts for people who enjoy working out and want to take their fitness and fat-loss to the next level while saving time and working out smarter.

Do you accept orders outside of the US?

Yes.  You can place your order online with us from any place in the world at anytime (even if it’s 3am on a Saturday).  And since you’ll be able to download MAX Workouts immediately after you pay, there’s no wait and no shipping charges.  Ah, the beauty of the internet!

I want MAX WORKOUTS, but not the 30 day free membership to the online club.  How do I cancel it?

I completely understand and that’s why I’ve made it as easy as possible for you to cancel.  Once you make your purchase, you can login and click the “Cancel Subscription” link on your “My Account” page.  That’s all there is to it!  You don’t have to worry about calling or emailing.  Canceling your club membership is totally within your control and you can do it at any time.

What payments types do you accept?

All major credit cards and ATM debit cards bearing the Visa, MasterCard, or Discover logo.  American Express is also accepted.  PayPal and Maestro cards are not accepted at this time.

Is the price quoted in U.S. dollars?

Yes, all prices are quoted in U.S. dollars.  If you need the current exchange rate for your local currency, you can use this free online currency conversion calculator from Yahoo: http://finance.yahoo.com/currency-converter (this link opens in a new window).

Can I do MAX Workouts if I am obese?

If you are extremely overweight, the intensity of the workouts may be too high for you at the moment. It’s recommended that you lose some weight first, then come back and try MAX WORKOUTS when you’re ready to take your fitness and weight-loss to the next level and fine tune your results. However, if you’re overweight (but not obese) and have been struggling to drop the extra pounds, tried other programs and plateaued, or experienced the ups and downs of yo-yo weight-loss, MAX WORKOUTS will get you on the fast-track to a leaner, stronger, fitter you.

I have health issues and am not sure if I can do MAX Workouts.  What do you suggest?

If you suffer from any serious health problems (such as diabetes, heart disease, inflammatory arthritic conditions, etc…) you should consult with your physician before beginning ANY new fitness program, including MAX Workouts.
