I'm a 38 year old married father of 4 from Indiana. I have a demanding full-time job and I am very involved in my kids' activities including coaching little league baseball during the summer. I have an athletic background going back to my childhood, but life gets hectic and bad habits settle in as it relates to reduced physical activity and nutrition. I've tried various workouts and diets, but I always seem to get back to my old habits before I reach my goals.
When I found MAX Workouts I was looking for a workout that I thought would be demanding enough to provide results, but not take an hour plus a day. I had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder in October, 2012. It took three months of recovery and rehab before I could even start lifting very light weights. I was not cleared to start lifting normal weights until late April. This transformation contest arrived just in time. At the start of the contest, I had been relatively inactive for around 9 months due to my shoulder injury. Over that time, I packed on around 15 to 20 lb. I started the contest on May 19, 2013 and weighed 252 lb and just wasn't feeling very healthy or good about myself. I ended the contest on August 12, 2013 and was down to 224 lb. for a loss of 28 lb!

19.5 total inches of fat lost!!
