2. Ab Exercises

Bottom line: Don’t waste your time doing typical ab exercises like crunches and sit-ups.

Why?

They are not an effective way to get rid of pesky age-related stomach fat.

The true cause of fat accumulation in your stomach area as you get older is hormone decline. Hormonal shifts that occur as you get older cause your body to store more fat. Changes in hormone release change your metabolism. In order to get rid of that hormone-added fat, you have to go to the source of the problem.

Every year after you reach your early 20s, a key hormone responsible for regulating your metabolism declines. This hormone tells your body to burn fat instead of store it. If it’s not being secreted by your body, your metabolism simply doesn’t burn fat at the same rate.

No amount of crunches will help fix this underlying problem. You have to treat the SOURCE of this problem first.

And on top of that? Crunches might actually hurt you!

Doing exercise ab-targeted moves can injure your low back by causing unnecessary stress on your spine. This may come as a surprise, but the purpose of your ab muscles is to PREVENT excessive bending and twisting.

If you want to get rid of the belly fat that accumulates with age, you have to treat the SOURCE of belly fat accumulation.

You can’t target treat fat with crunches. The good news is, you can target treat hormone decline, I’m about to show you how.
