Only have 5 or 10 minutes? Try this short, intense combination exercise so you can squeeze in an awesome total body workout fast.
Pressed for time?
I feel you!
Sometimes, I only have 5 or 10 minutes to get a workout in. When that happens, combo-exercises like the one below are what I rely on so I don’t have to skip a day or get set back.
Yes, it’s just one fluid movement…but it really packs a punch by combining multiple exercises. Together they target your entire body.
How much rest you take and how much effort you put in matters here. I’ll explain after the video.
Check out how you can work your entire body with just this one combination move:
With just this one exercise you can get an intense, total body workout that’s great for toning up your arms, shoulders, and legs while strengthening your core and hip flexors.
Here’s how to perform this combination move as a workout:
As demonstrated in the video…
Start with one rep of Push Up Rows followed immediately by 10 Mountain Climbers, then perform 2 reps of Push Up Rows followed immediately by 10 Mountain Climbers and then perform 3 reps of Push Up Rows followed immediately by 10 Mountain Climbers.
Continue until you’ve completed 10 reps of Push Up Rows followed immediately by 10 Mountain Climbers.
Perform this workout with little to no rest between exercises or sets.
Give it a try and see how many sets you can do without taking any rest!
Exercises like this are awesome, but if you do the same moves every day, or workout without a plan, you’ll end up struggling to see results after just a few weeks.
