Add "Taps" To Your Pushups to Fire Up Your Core for a Better Ab and Hip Strengthening Workout

In the video below, I’ll show you pushups with shoulder and side taps. These takes on a classic exercise force you to use your core to resist rotation and maintain your position.
Typically, you’ll “feel” pushups the most in your arms, chest and back. But you’ll see that after just a few reps, more of your core muscles will be firing up. These taps also target your hips too!
Focus on keeping your hips level and resisting rotation. It might be tough at first!
The wider your feet are, the easier this exercise will be on your core. So if you’re having a tough time staying balanced, move your feet further apart. And, if you really want to challenge your core, move your feet closer together!
