I started MAX Workouts at 207 pounds in April and am now at 187 pounds. One of my sons decided to do a 1/2 marathon and asked if I wanted to do it with him…I surprised myself and took first in my age group. I had noticed that my times were starting to look like the times of my runs 10 years ago and my body was not feeling as “old” the next day after a long run.
I did an Olympic distance triathlon with my other son and with no prior swimming or biking prep, just MAX Workouts and my running and I ended up taking first in my age group again. I recently did another 1/2 marathon and took second. I am doing another 1/2 in November and expect my time to be even better…
Thanks for what you have done for me and for providing a program that I intend to continue long into the future.
